Some unusual inspiration..
So I saw this before and after here: http://myuncommonsliceofsuburbia.blogspot.com/2010/02/craigslist-strikes-again.html and I kept thinking wow...that headboard is SO COOL in it's primered state!! I am redoing a guest room in blues and grays and I am determined to find a headboard with similar swirls and try to recreate the grey on grey look without it looking like "hey, look a headboard with primer on it"! I am going to try out layering techniques on this lovely little nightstand first. I think I might remove the bottom piece as it is a bit too fussy but not sure what kind of legs or feet I might put on it. I hope my distressed grey paint technique will look as awesome as I think it will! Stay tuned..
