Loving these soy candles

I am so excited because Stacy (Oakmont Candle Co) sent me a big box of soy candles. They have everything from pumpkin pie to peppermint, lavender, ocean, white tea...yum!
Normally I would never have a candle burning right next to me because they tend to give me headaches but these smell great and are clean burning. My work environment is so much more pleasant now! :)
Thanks again Stacy!

Home now...

Well I came home early. When I can't have access to my computer (work stuff) for more than 3 days I tend to get stressed out!
Here are some pics from our trip. I love getting away from it all, but it's also good to be home!

Still out of town

I am still up at my mom's house with the kids. We're going to be heading over to Mendocino tomorrow to look for seashells and walk around town. Mendocino is my favorite place on Earth. I have so many memories of going there as a kid, I love taking my kids. This time of year is so pretty up here with all the vineyards and the trees in Autumn colors. I am going home on Friday so until then, please be patient with my inevitable backlog :)

Oakmont Candle Co.

I'm very excited about this site. She wanted something vintage with lots of neutral colors. This is one of my favorite sites so far :)

Makes me want to light some candles...

Cathy of avalonrose tagged me: http://avalonrosedesign.blogspot.com/

1. I am addicted to fan noise. I haven't been able to sleep without a fan since I was about 19 years old (hotels, hospitals, everywhere I go)
2. I LOVE the cold. It's been in the 60's and I couldnt be happier!!
3. I have strange eyes. I just got glasses (not too bad at my age!) and one eye is nearsighted and the other one is farsighted.
4. I'm a germophobe. I carry little wipes and bottles of gel with me everywhere.
5. I'm extremely sentimental. I love doing things for my kids that remind me of my own childhood.
6. I love reading. I was over the moon when I found out my son, who's in second grade is reading at a 6th grade level! I've read to him from day one, and am so happy that it paid off and that he also loves to read :)
