This is just too funny. My husband says there is no bigger geek than a font geek (which I am), and perhaps he's right. This site just cracks me up.
"While we recognize the font may be appropriate in a few specific instances, our position is that the only effective means of ending this epidemic of abuse is to completely ban Comic Sans."
I think it goes without saying that I haven't used Comic Sans for anything since about 1996, but it amuses me that anyone else cares enough to hate Comic Sans!
And since we're on the subject, at the risk of making some people upset I'd like to add my top 5 "I hope I never see again" fonts:

Goosie Girl

I did this custom site for Goosie Girl Boutique. She wanted a goose with "Chucks" and since she loves retro I tried to do something both retro and a little modern. She has some great tutus. I love the strawberry and melon ones. Very cute stuff!

It's back to school time again
My little guy is off for his first day of second grade and my girl continues to go to her wonderful little preschool. This is my first day of freedom, but I still have many breaks in my schedule (pick up, drop off, gym appointments) so I'm trying to focus and work as diligently as I can in between interruptions! Lots of coffee will help! Oh the busy life of a mom...

Spunky Monkey
I was really excited to do this logo because it shows a little more of my "range" as a designer. (I DON'T just have one style, I am very flexible!) This was a fun and whimsical logo which I don't normally get to do :)

Dreamin Bohemian

I appreciate the fact that probably 40% of my business is repeat customers. I'm always happy when they want a makeover. As much as I'm happy with any design when it's finished I always seem to find room for improvement later!

Confections Fabric

So after spending the last few months on some big projects I'm finally start to cross some off my list. Confections Fabric is done!
